Travel to Laos

What to do after entering the embassy?

• Must be valid for at least 6 months

2. Copy of Malaysia visa

3. Bank state­ment

• 1 month or 3 months-you can pay whichev­er you want

4. Hotel book­ing

• Print and bring the hotel book­ing where you will stay in Laos.

5. Return air tick­et book­ing

• It is enough to have an ini­tial book­ing. It is not manda­to­ry to buy the entire tick­et.

6. NOC let­ter (if you are employed)

• If you work in Malaysia, you will need to pro­vide the com­pa­ny’s NOC or a gen­er­al let­ter which will state that you are going to trav­el to Laos and will return to work on a spe­cif­ic date.

Here you can apply for an Urgent Visa, which costs only 400 ring­git, and the pro­cess­ing time is usu­al­ly com­plet­ed with­in 1 to 2 hours. That is, you can sub­mit your pass­port on the same day and wait a few hours before you receive your pass­port with a visa. Unlike many coun­tries, you don’t have to wait for days or weeks rather, the Laos Embassy’s ser­vice is quite con­ve­nient for trav­el­ers to issue visas very quick­ly. Due to this fast ser­vice, many peo­ple stay­ing in Malaysia can eas­i­ly plan a trip to Laos.

Laos Embassy Schedule: Of course, you have to go to the embassy on time

Many peo­ple do not know about the Laos Embassy sched­ule, but it is very impor­tant for visa pro­cess­ing. The embassy has a break time from 12:00 to 2:00 every day, and no visa appli­ca­tions or files are accept­ed dur­ing this time. So if you want to apply for a visa, then def­i­nite­ly try to arrive before 12:00, because at this time your file will be sub­mit­ted and after the nec­es­sary ver­i­fi­ca­tion, you will be able to col­lect your pass­port after 2:00.
